Rayo Vallecano Coach Paco Jemez insists he holds no ill-will towards Real Madrid or Zinidine Zidane.

Jemez was a vocal critic of Zidane holding a position as Real Madrid Castilla Coach despite not possessing the required qualifications.

Zidane has since been given a three-month ban from the touchline, subject to appeal, but ahead of Rayo’s trip to Santiago Bernabeu, Jemez has insisted there is no grudge at work.

“I have no fight with anyone. I was asked about something and gave my opinion,” he protested, Marca reports.

“There’s nothing. I have no battle with Zidane or anyone else, just the fact we all need to comply with the rules.

“To me Zidane is brilliant. I have nothing against him, or Real Madrid or anyone, but I think the situation should be regulated. Nothing more.”
