Costa out, Nolito in for Spain

Diego Costa isn’t included in the Spain squad to play Belarus and Germany but there is a place for Celta Vigo forward Nolito.

Vicente Del Bosque has chosen to leave the Chelsea striker behind after repeated rows with Blues manager Jose Mourinho over Costa’s fitness.

In his place come Nolito, Juventus’ former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata and Napoli’s Jose Callejon, also formerly of Los Blancos.

Current Madrid starlet Isco gets a call to the senior side, as does Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho.

Andres Iniesta and David Silva are both out through injury, as is Dani Carvajal.

Gerard Pique retains his place in the group despite featuring only rarely for Barcelona, while Marc Bartra is involved as well.

Pedro Alcacer and Juan Bernat keep their place from the last squad but there is no room for Valencia’s Rodrigo Moreno.
