Porto boss Julen Lopetegui thought his team were just winners after their 2-0 Champions League defeat of Athletic Bilbao at San Mames.
Goals from Jackson Martinez and Brahimi sealed things for the Portuguese outfit, who also missed a first-half penalty, to seal mathematical qualification for the knockout stages.
“My team showed a lot of personality in their understanding of the game, while we defended with order, concentrated, and demonstrated a lot of ambition in attack,” he told reporters.
“I thought we deserved to win and right now we are going to enjoy this, but only a little. We are going to go into the next two games with the aim of finishing top of the group.”
The Spaniard also highlighted the fact Porto were through to the next stage after just four group fixtures.
“Besides having the responsibility of getting us through I am also very thrilled,” he admitted.
