Ancelotti: Ronaldo hard to describe

Carlo Ancelotti was at a loss to describe the quality of Cristiano Ronaldo’s performance as Real Madrid beat Granada 4-0.

Ronaldo scored the game’s first goal after 99 seconds of play and set-up the third with a back-heel for Karim Benzema.

James Rodriguez got two goals – although the second, Madrid’s fourth, may go down as an own goal – as Los Blancos claimed an eleventh straight win.

“We’re playing with quality, concentration, hard work and sacrifice,” the Coach said after the match, AS reports.

“We’re doing well, we played well and we got the points. When the team fights the quality comes out better.

“Of course we have flaws that can still be improved but overall I’m pleased with what we are doing.

“Everything is going well and we’ll work to keep it that way.

“The first goal opened up the game and gave us more space to play. It’s normal we lost a little concentration at the end and we gave away chances but we didn’t concede.”

Ancelotti was asked about how Gareth Bale will fit in the side when he returns from injury after another stellar showing from Isco, and replied that it’s not a concern to have too many good players.

“Everybody thinks Bale is a problem, but he is a player who can help us be better,” Ancelotti insisted.

“Ronaldo? Words aren’t enough. It’s increasingly difficult to describe him. He’s fantastic.”
