Gracia: Rayo are capable

Malaga Coach Javi Gracia is a little wary of playing Rayo Vallecano but believes their opponents’ style will give his side chances.

Rayo visit Malaga on Sunday afternoon and Gracia told his pre-match Press conference that he is banking on Malaga’s home form to hold out.

“No matter which team comes here we will try to maintain our strength at home,” he said, AS reports.

“I think we’ve been pretty solid and we haven’t given the chance for a goal.

“Rayo are a team with a lot of capability. It will be an interesting game and hopefully the win comes at home.

“They have a very clear and different way of playing. They’re brave and they always look to win. That makes Rayo very bold and gets good results.

“It’s a game that will require a lot from us. We have to work hard in defence so we don’t give away chances.

“We have to use our strength and minimize our faults. We have to continue with the strength of not giving away much at home.

“I think we’ll face a team that will give us a chance and we’ll see if we can impose ourselves on the game.”
