Lucas Alcaraz has told Levante they can’t avoid relegation in May and have to start winning games now.
Alcaraz this week replaced Jose Luis Mendilibar at Ciutat de Valencia and faces Celta Vigo tonight in his first game.
Speaking at a Press conference, he asked Les Granotes to believe they can climb the table but called for it to start sooner rather than later.
“I think we all need to be convinced that we can stay in the Division,” he said, Marca reports.
“It’s a difficult road for all teams but you can’t win the battle on May 28. It has to be today.
“We go every day, not just to talk but that’s the reality.
“There is no one style of playing. We have to get the team as reliable as possible.”
