Djukic replaces Ferrer at Cordoba

Cordoba have sacked Albert Ferrer as Coach and appointed former Valencia boss Miroslav Djukic.

The newly-promoted Blanquiverdes have yet to win a game this season and Ferrer has paid the price, with Djukic hired on a contract until the end of the season, AS confirms.

Cordoba have only four points from a possible 24 and the final straw proved to be Saturday’s home defeat to Malaga.

Djukic will officially take charge on Tuesday, 10 months after he left Mestalla. The former Deportivo La Coruna and Valencia defender has also been in charge of Hercules and Real Valladolid.
