Javi Gracia was pleased with Malaga’s win over Cordoba but believes a more clinical performance is needed in future.
Samuel and Nordim Amrabat were on the score sheet, the latter from the penalty spot, before Cordoba netted a late consolation.
Gracia remarked after the match that he believes Malaga can do better, particularly by improving their chance conversion rate.
“We can do a lot better. We have to be more effective in front of goal,” he said, Marca reports.
“We played a good game but had to create a lot of chances to get a goal. But I want to thank the fans for coming here.”
