Xavi Hernandez intends to end the season as a Barcelona player, reports in Spain claim, despite suggestions he would leave in January.
It had been reported that Xavi was in negotiations for a winter move to the MLS but AS cite sources that insist the midfielder intends to see out the campaign at Camp Nou.
It’s also thought that Xavi will get more playing time under Luis Enrique as the season progresses and the games become more crucial.
Enrique is said to see Xavi as a player he can rely at vital times and he will be used accordingly.
