Lionel Messi has released a video message to mark his 10th anniversary as a Barcelona player.
Thursday marked 10 years to the day since Messi’s competitive Barca debut, entering the derby with Espanyol as a substitute.
“I want to thank all my family, friends, teammates and the entire staff of Barcelona for their support in these 10 wonderful years,” he said, Mundo Deportivo reports.
“I’ve always enjoyed being on the pitch wearing these colours and living some very beautiful moments.
“But I’ve always wanted to improve and win more trophies for the team. A hug for everyone.”
