Jorge Messi, father of Lionel, says his son is in good hands following his recent stomach problems.
The Barcelona star has had an increasing tendency to vomit before and during games this year, although his father insists there is nothing to be concerned about.
“I’ve heard professionals talking about the situation from outside without really knowing what it is they are saying,” Jorge told Cadena COPE.
“I can assure you that the doctors at Barcelona have had him tested by specialists. They know very well how Leo works, as I’ve said many times.
“This is something that comes and goes. It has happened to other great sportsmen and nobody knows why.
“Leo is not the only one. I don’t know why there is so much talk about this because so much is said and so much is made up,” he maintained.
