Nolito acknowledges Bilbao task

Celta Vigo winger Nolito has recognised the difficulties his team will face when they take on Athletic Bilbao at the weekend.

The Basques are currently in the bottom three, having won one, drawn one and lost five of the opening seven League games, but the former Benfica man believes they are a much better team than their position suggests.

“It will be a very difficult game. Though Athletic are near the foot of the table I think they are in a false position.

“They have a very good team and at San Mames they can beat anyone, so it will be a tough game for us, but we are going there to try and get the three points,” he told a Press conference.

On a personal level the 27-year-old said the break for internationals had come at a good time.

“It’s always good to have a couple of days rest before returning to training, although I don’t know if I’m at my best just yet.

“However, I’m happy with the way things are going and the team is also doing well. On the pitch I try to do what I’m best at and play as I normally do.

“But if our opponents are watching me we have other players who are dangerous,” he added.
