Luxembourg Coach Luc Holtz believes his side needed to be more in Spain’s face in the 4-0 Euro 2016 qualification defeat.
Holtz wasn’t disappointed with the outcome but believes if his players were more aggressive, they’d be getting better results.
“It’s a clear result against a great team that played with style and to their philosophy,” Holtz told reporters, according to AS.
“The only thing we lacked was a bit of aggression.
“Playing against Spain is always very difficult. They’re a great team with a lot of individuals and very technical players. It’s difficult for any team against such a strong team.
“I’m pleased with our last two games despite losing today. I didn’t like our result against Macedonia, where we needed to score. A little more aggression is needed in these types of games.”
