Espanyol’s Hector Moreno has undergone an operation on his broken leg that was said to be successful, but there remains no timetable for his return.
Moreno broke his leg while representing Mexico at the World Cup and this week had surgery to remove two screws from his left tibia.
The operation had been planned since he suffered the injury and went well, with Moreno able to leave the Barcelona hospital soon after.
Moreno is continuing his rehabilitation but the specialists overseeing the process are reluctant to push the centre-back too hard due to the risk of complications, AS reports.
