Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper German Lux has sprained his thumb but is expected to play against Valencia next weekend.
Marca reports the Argentine was injured in a collision on Wednesday with Modibo Diakite and scans have since confirmed the extent of the problem.
Lux has sprained his left thumb and is undergoing treatment, while he will sit out training on Friday but hopes to return to training within a few days.
He is still pencilled into the Depor side to play Valencia next Sunday, when La Liga resumes after the international break.
