Getafe home form crucial says Guaita

Getafe goalkeeper Vicente Guaita believes home form will be vital if his team are going to be free from relegation worries this season.

The Madrid-based outfit have had a difficult start to the 2014-15 La Liga campaign but in their last two games at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez, against Malaga and Cordoba, picked up four valuable points.

It is form that Guaita feels they need to maintain if Cosmin Contra’s men want to move up the table.

“We’ve got to make our home a fortress. In the second half against Cordoba things went very well and that’s the way we must continue to work,” the former Valencia stopper told a Press conference.

“We struggled at the start of the season but we had a very tough fixture list. Sometimes we forgot who we were up against.

“We’ve only kept a clean sheet in two games and my job is to make sure we do that more often,” he maintained.
