Sergio was pleased with what he saw from Espanyol in the win over Real Sociedad, declaring the team are on the right track.
Goals from Lucas Vazquez and Christian Stuani dispatched La Real and moved Espanyol into the top half of the table after seven rounds of games, despite a poor start.
“The game had a good level of play and intensity to match,” he said, AS reports.
“We put in great effort and the reward came with a victory. I don’t know if we’ve found the key to winning but little by little we’re getting to the targets we set ourselves.
“I hope Stuani continues his scoring streak. Our attack has a lot of firepower.
“This is the beginning of a journey for me on the bench and I want it to go very well.”
