Elche winger Victor Rodriguez says morale is still high at the club despite three consecutive defeats.
Fran Escriba’s men have lost to Eibar, Real Madrid and Celta Vigo in recent weeks, but Rodriguez feels Saturday night’s game at Almeria is a good opportunity for Elche to get back on track.
“Our morale and confidence is sufficient to go to the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos and claim a victory,” he told a Press conference.
“We played well in the first few games of the season and results didn’t go our way, yet there will be a lot of teams battling relegation this season.
“This is a League where a couple of wins can take you near the top, while on the other hand two defeats means you can be near the bottom.
“It would mean a great deal for future games if we could beat Almeria but I feel the best chance we have of achieving our aim lies with our home form at the Martinez Valero,” he admitted
