Arda Turan’s goal was enough to give Atletico Madrid victory over Juventus in the Champions League meeting between the sides.
The Spanish champions defeated their Italian counterparts despite Juve dominating possession, Turan claiming the first goal scored against the Old Lady this season.
Juventus, starting with Spain international Fernando Llorente, had chances and threw on ex-Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata late on as they searched for an equaliser.
Turan’s goal came with 15 minutes to play and means all four teams in Group A have three points after Malmo downed Olympiacos in Sweden.
