Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura has warned Barcelona his team has improved since the last time the two clubs met.

The Ligue 1 outfit entertain the Catalans in the group stages of the Champions League at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday, having lost out to them on the away goals rule in the quarter-finals of the 2012-13 edition of the tournament.

However, the Brazilian winger feels that Laurent Blanc’s side will be a different proposition this time around.

“We are a more compact and united team than last time we met and we come into this game a lot stronger,” the 22-year-old told Mundo Deportivo.

“Few things have changed with regard to last year but some important and experienced players have arrived.

“It will be a very interesting game and we’ll be fighting hard to win it.”

Moura says he is particularly looking forward to the encounter as there will be plenty of his countrymen on show: Maxwell, David Luiz, Marquinhos and himself for PSG and Dani Alves, Neymar and Adriano lining up for Barcelona.

“It will be an enjoyable game. It’s very good to see Brazilians in the major European Leagues and representing our country, and I’ll be really happy to be out there with so many teammates and friends.

“We all have a great friendship but out on the pitch we are going to be fighting for our teams whilst also respecting the opposition,” he pointed out.
