Ibrahimovic out of Barca game

Barcelona won’t face former player Zlatan Ibrahimovic when they play Paris Saint-Germain after he was ruled out of the Champions League tie.

AS reports that PSG have confirmed the Swede hasn’t recovered in time to play La Blaugrana after a heel injury and will sit out Barca’s visit.

It’s expected former Napoli striker Edinson Cavani will lead the line instead, AS reports.

Ibrahimovic spent little over a season at Camp Nou, moving to Spain in the summer of 2009 after leaving Inter.

He scored 21 goals in 45 games in his only full year at the club, and scored in the Supercopa de Espana at the start of the 2010-11 campaign before returning to Italy with Milan.

It was from Milan that Ibra joined PSG, moving to France in 2012. To date he has scored 83 times in 94 appearances for the Ligue 1 champions.
