Caparros positive ahead of Barca trip

Granada Coach Joaquin Caparros has said his side go to Barcelona this weekend looking to get a positive result.

Caparros takes his team to Catalonia on the back of a home defeat against Levante and he told a pre-match Press conference that the players need to relax a little.

“That may be it. It’s human to switch off when you think you have nothing to play for. Levante were more in need, more motivated, and it showed on the pitch,” he said, AS reports.

“We have speed, we’re a strong team and we will try to play our game [against Barca].

“We will try to compete at Camp Nou to get a good result.”

Caparros added that he wasn’t overly concerned by the defeat against Levante and offered his reasons for why.

“We are a young team with a lot of new players, a good group that is doing well in training and the defeat must improve us as a team,” he continued.
