Javi Gracia considered Malaga’s goalless draw with Barcelona at La Rosaleda to be a well-deserved point for his team.
Nonetheless, he acknowledged that both sides had opportunities to have won the match over the course of the 90 minutes.
“The draw with Barca was a great point and one which we deserved because we restricted them to no shots on goal,” the Malaga boss told reporters.
“Even so, I’m not stupid enough to say that we were very good and deserved more, because I don’t believe that.
“We made chances and they didn’t go in but Barcelona also created opportunities, but we sacrificed a lot against opponents who demand a lot of you.
“We weren’t able to put the ball in the net but we didn’t concede and for them not to have a single shot on target means we did our work well,” he concluded.
