Sandro not worried by Suarez

Sandro Ramirez wants to take the chances being given to him at Barcelona before Luis Suarez is available to Luis Enrique.

The teenager came off the bench to score in the 5-0 win over Levante, his second Barca goal, and speaking after the match praised the team’s performance.

“We’ve dominated the game and took advantage of the chances we had,” AS reports Sandro telling reporters.

“My goal was important but I’m only happy for the three points. We want to continue on the same line and we’re very happy.”

Sandro was asked about the impending return of Luis Suarez, the summer signing who will be free from suspension in just over a month.

Suarez’s availability would appear to threaten Sandro’s place in the Barca squad but he insists he isn’t concerned.

“He’s a great player and I’m sure he’ll have a very good season when he can be incorporated,” he added.

“Now I need to seize the opportunity given to me by the Coach.”
