Celta Vigo Coach Eduardo Berizzo wasn’t impressed with his team’s performance despite holding Atletico Madrid to a draw at Vicente Calderon.
Berizzo told reporters after the final whistle that he was happy with the maturity of his side, not their actual performance.
“We didn’t play a good game but we showed maturity against a very strong opponent,” he said, according to AS.
“We’re satisfied, not so much with the performance but the result. I’m taking the maturity of the team in this game. We’re stronger and we’re ready for the next match.”
Celta host local rivals Deportivo La Coruna on Tuesday.
