Raphael Varane has been named in the Real Madrid XI to play Deportivo La Coruna, replacing Pepe as Sergio Ramos’ partner.

Carlo Ancelotti otherwise names the same side that started against Atletico Madrid, with the exception of Marcelo replacing Fabio Coentrao at left-back.

Iker Casillas continues in goal, Alvaro Arbeloa is stationed at right-back and Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are in midfield.

James Rodriguez is also included, as are Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The home side meanwhile make three changes from the side that beat Eibar on Monday.

Out go Alberto Lopo, Juan Dominguez and Ivan Cavaleiro, with Modibo Diakite, Luis Farina and Isaac Cuenca, formerly of Barcelona, coming in.

Former Valencia striker Helder Postiga leads the line at Riazor.
