Garitano staying positive over Eibar

Eibar Coach Gaizka Garitano isn’t concerned despite his side suffering two straight defeats, having won their first-ever La Liga game.

The newly-promoted Basques beat Real Sociedad on the opening weekend but have since lost to Atletico Madrid and Deportivo La Coruna, the latter game at home.

Speaking ahead of tonight’s game against Elche, Garitano told reporters that he believes Eibar are still playing well and getting close to good results.

“In the three games we’ve been close to winning. In none of them have we been outplayed,” he said, according to Marca.

“I’m positive. I’ve seen the team looking well these past days. We’re looking forward to the game against Elche.

“I’m delighted with the team’s attitude and I’m happy with the support of the fans. But we need to be more aggressive and attack with more players.”
