Jose Mourinho has admitted he and Cristiano Ronaldo have no existing relationship, just the memory of working together at Real Madrid.
The former Madrid Coach told Portuguese television that he and Ronaldo are not close and since they’re at different clubs, have no contact with each other.
But Mourinho added that he enjoyed working with Ronaldo and didn’t wish him or Madrid any ill.
“The relationship does not exist,” Mourinho said, according to AS.
“He plays for Madrid and I’m Chelsea. We don’t often see each other on the street.
“The relationship doesn’t exist, the memory is there. I remember a guy who is a scoring machine, who helped me to be a champion, to win the Cup and the Super Cup.
“I keep the memory of Cristiano and I wish him all the best in his career, especially with Portugal, but also at his club.”
