Pedro Rodriguez has vowed to knuckle down and convince Luis Enrique he deserves a place among the Barcelona attack.
Speaking at a Press conference, Pedro dismissed his recent lack of goals and said the only way to get into what he feels is the strike force in the world is to put in the effort.
“I’m calm because I know the goals will come. The important thing is to create chances and I’m getting lots of them,” he said, according to AS.
“I have to be patient and calm and it will come. I’m working at the utmost every day.
“It’s hard. I just have to work to make it happen. It’s hard getting in the team because I’m competing with the best forwards in the world and that makes it hard to be on this team.
“But I fight and work for it every day. The important thing is to do my job and then let the Coach decide.
“The Coach has asked that was press high up from the start and if we don’t win the ball, to fall back and win it deeper.
“The more we have the ball the less chances our opponents create. And that’s how it is.”
