Villarreal Coach Marcelino has injuries with which to contend prior to the game against Granada.
He told a pre-match Press conference however that he wouldn’t complain as it’s part of the game, but it does make an already difficult game more so.
“Injuries are things that happen and they’ve happened to us. Gio [dos Santos] was injured with his national team but it’s a different injury to one he had before,” AS reports Marcelino as saying.
“We’re limited in certain positions but we have to go forward.
“Something similar happened last season. We had to solve the problems and continue to compete. We can’t mourn for these situations.
“Granada is a team that will make things hard, especially with Joaquin Caparros. They’re organised and very strong defensively.
“Villarreal have never won in Granada but that’s without explanation.”
