Emery: No set Sevilla XI

Unai Emery refused to hint at who would play for Sevilla against Getafe, instead insisting the team has no set first XI.

The Coach also bristled at questions regarding Pedro Leon, the winger in dispute with El Geta and linked with a switch to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

“A year-and-a-half I’ve been here and the team we have isn’t set. We don’t define an XI. Everyone is available and ready,” he said, according to AS.

“It doesn’t have to be the XI we had in the first two rounds, with four points. That’s not bad but it could be better.

“The line-up is subject to the preparation of the players being at their best.”

On Leon, Emery insisted the subject hadn’t been on his mind and wouldn’t be since he’s not registered to play.

“That’s not news for Sevilla. He’s not registered, he’s not going to play, so we don’t care,” he continued.
