Paco Jemez is encouraged by the training level of Rayo Vallecano ahead of the game against Elche at Sunday lunchtime.

The Coach told his pre-match Press conference that Rayo go into the game in good form and the international break was a help, not a hindrance.

“We’re very well. We used to the break to increase the workload,” he said, according to AS.

“Then I thought we should take three days off and the players returned well, not only in tangible things like weight but in the intensity with which they have worked.

“Hopefully that will stand us in good stead.

“Intensity will be the key, not only in this match but others because if you’re not strong you won’t be able to compete.

“I don’t like playing at Noon. We’ve tried to train to adapt to this time and adapt the routine of breakfast and getting up.”
