Gracia: Malaga should have won

Javi Gracia believes Malaga did enough to beat Levante and wasn’t content with the goalless draw that resulted.

The Coach said after the final whistle that his side were in complete control of the game and felt Juanmi’s goal was wrongly ruled out.

“We did many things to be able to win the game,” Gracia said, according to Marca.

“We deserved it but didn’t get what we deserved.

“We’ve had 18 shots, 20 corners and clear chances. Juanmi’s goal was legal, we went close many times, we controlled the game but with little success in front of goal.

“What was lacking was confidence to be more effective on those occasions.”

On the disallowed goal, Gracia refrained from overly criticising the officials, but suggested it was something of a pattern against his side.

“I am confident this streak is conditioning us to change,” he said.
