Moya: Cristiano the complete player

Atletico Madrid’s Miguel Angel Moya is wary of facing Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo tomorrow as he feels the Portuguese is the complete player.

Moya is likely to be in goal for Atletico in the derby and says there is no one like Ronaldo in football today.

“Cristiano is probably in the panorama of football the most complete player in all the skills that can be assessed,” AS reports Moya as saying.

“Karim Benzema isn’t a typical striker and Gareth Bale performs better in spaces than if he is crowded by people.

“He has a great change of pace, he’s very good with assists, shoots well and uses his head.

Moya added that the derby will be decided as much by what happens without the ball as what happens with it.

“We have to be strong mentally, not to fade, not to see we’ve run after the ball two or three times and not won it,” he continued.

“Sometimes you run more than you touch the ball, especially against these teams. You need your teammates behind you. That’s one of the rules of this team.”
