Real Madrid track Germany star

Reports in Italy suggest Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen central midfielder Christoph Kramer.

Sky Italia reports that the Spanish giants could be interested in the German international in the next transfer window and are ready to offer €15m for him.

Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti still has doubts over his central midfield and sees Kramer as the perfect complement to Toni Kroos, who the 23-year-old is familiar with from the national team.

Although Leverkusen own the player, Kramer spent last season on loan to Borussia Monchengladbach and was a member of the German team that won the World Cup in Brazil this summer.

However, his contribution to the final win over Argentina was short-lived as he needed to be substituted in the first half with concussion following a clash with Ezequiel Garay.
