Line-ups: Spain-Macedonia

Iker Casillas and Paco Alcacer have been named in the starting XI for Spain against Macedonia in their first Euro 2016 qualifier.

Only four players remain from last week’s friendly defeat to France – Sergio Ramos, Sergio Busquets, Cesc Fabregas and Koke.

David De Gea kept goal against Les Bleus and Vicente Del Bosque had suggested the Manchester United custodian would feature regularly in future, but Casillas returns to the side today, as captain.

Atletico Madrid’s Juanfran comes in for the injured Dani Carvajal at right-back while Ramos is partnered by Raul Albiol and Jordi Alba takes over from Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back.

Alcacer will be supported by David Silva and Pedro Rodriguez, the Valencia forward replacing the injured Diego Costa.

Macedonia Coach Bosko Gjurovski suggested at his pre-match Press conference he could go with a five-man defence.

His XI includes Stefan Ristovski, who plays for Parma in Serie A.
