De Gea: Hernandez great for Madrid

David De Gea believes Javier Hernandez will thrive at Real Madrid after leaving Manchester United on a season-long loan.

Marca reports de Gea telling a television interview that Chicharito was one of the players who helped him adapt when he left Atletico Madrid for United.

“He is a great person, one of the best people I have met in football,” the goalkeeper said.

“He will do very good things in Madrid. He doesn’t play very often but he scores a lot of goals.”

Marca add that Hernandez’s former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, also expects the Mexico international to succeed in Spain.

“I’m sure he will do very well at Madrid. He’s guaranteed to when he has confidence,” Ferguson is quoted as saying.
