Dani Carvajal has been ruled out of Spain’s match against Macedonia tonight and is a doubt for Real Madrid’s game against Atletico Madrid.
AS reports the right-back has suffered a hamstring injury, the problem occurring in La Roja’s final training session.
Carvajal is due back in Madrid for further assessment and treatment and as it stands it’s not known if he will be fit to play against the champions.
AS add Carvajal wasn’t expected to start for Spain against Macedonia but did impress last week against France, when he was up against Atletico’s Antoine Griezmann.
