Elche boss Fran Escriba conceded he was delighted to claim a point against Granada on Sunday evening.
David Lomban netted in the 91st minute to ensure that the Franjiverdes got a 1-1 draw as they hosted El Grana.
“We are so happy to have got the draw,” he told a press conference. “When you get some sort of result in the last minute, it always feels good.
“In the second half we slowed down and they found more spaces, so that’s something that we’ll have to work on over the break.
“I’m happy with the work of my players. This point has a big psychological value.”
