Victor Valdes’ agent has claimed that his client ‘will find a big club before Christmas’.
The Spain international left Barcelona at the end of last season after his contract expired with the Camp Nou outfit.
A move to Monaco was thought to be in the pipeline, but after the goalkeeper injured his cruciate ligament in March, that transfer was cut off by the Ligue 1 side.
However, Valdes’ representative has insisted that the ex-Blaugrana will be at one of Europe’s top sides before the winter break.
“One can sign at any time and I'm sure we'll see Valdes at a big team before Christmas," he told Cadena Ser.
“The recovery is going well, but we do now yet know when he will be cleared [to return to action].”
