Bale wants more Madrid history

Gareth Bale wants to try and make ‘more history’ at Real Madrid after winning La Decima last season.

Los Blancos beat Atletico Madrid 4-1 in the Champions League final last season, with the Welshman netting the second goal.

And the world’s most expensive player has insisted that his side will try and beat the first team to retain the trophy this term.

“For all of us winning the Champions League was fantastic but we have to look ahead now,” he told a Press conference.

“We have to try and make history. Obviously, scoring in a final, and above all in the Champions League, is one of the biggest dreams.

“Anyone who has scored in a final feels fulfilled. We know there is always pressure at a club like Real Madrid but we like pressure.

“We will try and win it again this season.”
