Munir set for Barca start?

Munir El-Haddadi could be set for his first Barcelona start in their League opener against Elche tomorrow.

The 18-year-old has been a sensation in the Blaugrana youth teams in recent seasons, and impressed during pre-season with a double in the Gamper Trophy win over Leon.

And Catalan daily Sport suggest this afternoon that Luis Enrique could throw the teenager in at the deep end with a place in the XI against the Franjiverdes on Sunday.

With Neymar and Pedro injured, Luis Suarez suspended and Gerard Deulofeu out on loan, the Camp Nou outfit look relatively short up top.

As such, the paper believes that the Madrid-born youngster could get a place in the team alongside Lionel Messi and fellow youngster Sandro tomorrow.
