Line-ups: Atletico Madrid – Real Madrid

As expected, Angel Di Maria has been left out of the Real Madrid squad to face Atletico Madrid, while Iker Casillas starts in goal.

The Argentine winger has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bernabeu and has told Coach Carlo Ancelotti he wants to leave. As a result, he is omitted from tonight’s Spanish Supercopa second leg to ensure he does not pick up an injury to put off perspective buyers.

Casillas meanwhile is given the nod over Keylor Navas for the third competitive match in succession, though whether he will keep his place for Los Blancos’ League opener on Monday remains to be seen.

Cristiano Ronaldo meanwhile is left on the bench as a precaution to a slight injury.

The hosts line-up with new attacking duo Antoine Griezmann and Mario Mandzukic, with the Frenchman replacing Saul Niguez in the starting 11.

Midfielder Tiago is another incoming change made by Diego Simeone, with Mario Suarez making way.

The tie between the La Liga champions and Copa Del Rey winners is locked at 1-1. Kick-off at the Vicente Calderon is at 21.30 BST.
