Tottenham Hotspur will pay Sevilla €10m to sign Federico Fazio and the club are not happy with the captain.
Fazio was given the armband after Ivan Rakitic left for Barcelona but AS reports that Fazio intends to travel to London over the weekend, despite Sevilla’s League opener against Valencia.
He will only go to England when he gets permission from his club but Sevilla are not pleased with his behaviour or that of his representatives.
Sevilla are also irked that the transfer is going ahead so late in the window, and after the club’s longest-serving player was named as captain.
AS say that some members of the Fazio camp are acting as if it is a foregone conclusion he joins Spurs and had already lined up the trip to London.
Sevilla are due to train this morning and Fazio has asked out of the session so he can complete his move to the Premier League.
