Andres Iniesta believes Barcelona have a squad that can once again compete for trophies ahead of the new season.
The midfielder believes the work done over the summer will stand the Catalans in good stead for 2014-15 with Barca getting the season underway this weekend against Elche.
“The beginning is near. We hope it goes well,” Mundo Deportivo reports Iniesta as saying.
“We feel good after pre-season, which has been very productive in terms of training and we will try to reflect that on the pitch on Sunday.
“We have a great squad that can compete for all trophies.
“Every Coach is different but the core of the game remains the same.”
