Zuculini happy with Valencia switch

Bruno Zuculini has spoken of his happiness at joining Valencia on a season-long loan from Manchester City.

The Argentine midfielder moved to the Premier League champions this summer from Racing but has been allowed to go to Mestalla.

Zuculini was involved in City’s pre-season and thanked Valencia bosses Rufete and Roberto Ayala for convincing him to join Los Che.

“I’m pleased to see that they think I can be important and they did all that’s possible to convince me to come here,” AS reports Zuculini as saying.

“I don’t want to speak ill of City because I won’t be there for a year. We can decide if I stay or not in a year.

“I want to do well here and there’s time for everything else.

“I came to Europe for the challenge of seeing if I could play here after a good year with Racing. It’s a completely new challenge.

“My game is missing many things but I am willing and ready to come to the club to make myself a better player.”
