Thievy Bifouma has signed on loan for Almeria for a year, leaving Espanyol for the coming season.
The 22-year-old ended last year on loan at Premier League West Bromwich Albion and has also represented Las Palmas during his time in Spain.
Thievy began his career at Strasbourg, moving to Espanyol in the 2010-11 season.
AS report Almeria as claiming a number of teams were in the hunt for the French forward, both in Spain and elsewhere, but Los Rojiblancos have sealed Thievy’s signature.
