Athletic Bilbao won’t be seeded for the Champions League play-off draw after results this week went against them.
Zenit St. Petersburg’s safe passage through their third play-off round tie against Cyprus side Limassol means they will be the last seeds, pushing Athletic into the non-seeds pot, AS reports.
Athletic could then be drawn against Zenit, with Bayer Leverkusen, Porto, Napoli and Arsenal the other possibilities for Ernesto Valverde’s side in Friday’s draw.
