Jose Antonio Reyes believes Sevilla have a good chance of beating Real Madrid in the European Super Cup.
The sides meet in Cardiff on August 12 and AS report the forward telling Radio Sevilla that in a one-off game, Los Rojiblancos are capable of dispatching Los Blancos.
“It’s a game where anything can happen. It will be complicated, difficult, but our mentality is to win and give joy to the fans because they deserve it,” Reyes said.
He added that the summer preparations have gone well and Sevilla will go into the tie in good shape.
“Every day we are better physically, and with the ball, with all players practicing yesterday,” he continued.
“The team can’t be another way against the strongest rivals.
“Each workout is going well because our goal is to be 100% for August 12 and we’re getting there.”
