‘Ancelotti the best of all time’

Alessandro Del Piero visited Real Madrid’s training session in America overnight, and suggests that Carlo Ancelotti is ‘the best of all time’.

The Italian tactician guided Los Blancos to the Copa del Rey and the Champions League titles in his first campaign.

And the striker, who worked with the 55-year-old at Juventus at the turn of the century, believes that the capital club are in good hands.

“I’ve come here to say hello to Carlo Ancelotti – he is the best Coach of all time and I am delighted for him that he won La Décima with Madrid,” he told AS.

“That was a special moment for him and for Real Madrid.

“I’ve played Real Madrid many times and it’s always a pleasure to play in the capital and against such an incredible club.”

The forward also gave his stamp of approval to their new signings – Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez.

“They reinforced the squad well. James is an incredible player – he’s young and has a great future ahead of him.

“And Kroos will fit it perfectly – he is a midfielder who will play an important role for Real Madrid.”
